The Birmingham Girls Choir is a multi-cultural, non-profit organization that instills excellence in young girls through the study and performance of choral music.

Birmingham Girls Choir seeks to enrich the lives of girls from all religious, racial, cultural and economic backgrounds. Through engaging repertoire, creative programming, community collaborations, and inspiring teaching, we instill a love of singing in our girls, which will serve them for the entirety of their lives.

Birmingham Girls Choir is a stellar complement to school choir or any musical training for girls who have a passion for learning and growing in excellence. Our repertoire focuses on classical training and our girls learn a wide range of genres and opportunities to perform with the best professional musicians in stunning venues.

Choristers in Birmingham Girls Choir study and perform a variety of secular and sacred choral literature including classical, folk, contemporary, world, gospel and jazz styles. Weekly rehearsals reinforce music reading skills, vocal techniques, stage presence and rehearsal etiquette.
